I-Shin was one of the first official styles of MIXED MARTIAL ARTS and is based on
advanced techniques developed from the study of anatomy and physics.
It includes throws, kicks, and punches from all the different styles of fighting plus
the practice of pressure points.
The old Asian ways of harmony and smoothness combined with the new modern
world of strength and hardness forms the basis of the I-Shin philosopy.
I-Shin no longer compete in tournaments as they promote the ART of training for
health, fitness, and fun.
Shihan Bernd Hartmann, who trained with the Shaolin Monks, fought in 27 NO-RULES-FIGHTS.
Note: The UFC has a minimum of 38 rules.
Hartmann has also fought in Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Full Contact Karate, Boxing, and Judo.
He finished his competitive career having fought in 80 professional fights all over the world including
69 wins and 60 knock outs.
